I only have tonight to fix the problem after that maybe a month or two. My grandmother has a 1995 Lexus ES300. The radio does work and the fuses are good but only turns on about once a month. When it does turn on it works well for a few minutes then fades away. All of the lights on the dash work even for the radio. The antenna come up. There are no modifications all factory parts. The only thing I can think of is the Amp. If I also sounds like the amp to you where is it located and do you have any advice. I called the auto part stores around town and no one has a book for this car. Thank you very much and I hope to hear from you all soon. Have a good day.

It does sound like 1 of 2 things. The fan does not work, therefore the stereo shuts down, or yes, the amp is faulting out. But if this is a factory system, I am not sure whether thay come standard with an amp?? Amp will usually be found under driver or passenger seat or in the trunk. Let me know.
