Re: car amp Sign In

more info would definatly help, it kinda sounds like maybe your not grounded good enough, the manual that came with your amp should tell you what to do if it pops that message up. also if its a 2 chanel amp and your only running 1 sub off of 1 of the channels, the imbalance can mess things up.

Re: car amp Sign In

The Sub / Amp combo brand name dont really mean squwat. It does sound however that it is only wired to 1 channel of the amp as previously stated. Speakers can run off 1 channel in an amp, but subs take 2 channels to run. Make sure it IS wired to 2 channels. If you mistakenly got a bridging AMP, take it back and get a minimum 2 channel amp. 500w Sub to 1000w amp is probably the best combo you can do.

If this dont work, make sure your settings in your head unit are set, and it is wired correctly to that also. Could also be a bad earth.
