I drive a 2005 honda civic. About a year ago I had best buy install a sony aftermarket head unit in it. It worked just fine untill about a month ago when i made a fast u-turn and it shut off. None of the buttons work, no clock, no nothin. People told me it was a fuse, so i replaced the fuse for the stereo and it worked again untill i went over a pothole and it shut off again, i kept putting more new fuses into and it would work untill i made another sharp turn or i went over a bump. The last fuse i put in there however made a shock noise and i saw a spark fly. After that any fuses i put in there will not work, and the stereo is still fryed. Im stumped and no nothing about car stereos. HELP PLEASE

Luckily I do!Wink OK you need to identify why you are blowing fuses. This one sounds simple enough. You say when you turn sharp or hit a pump? Most likely your ground wire is loose. If your ground wire has nothing to earth against you will blow fuses all day. You may have to remove your head unit from the cradle to investigate this. Make sure it is earthed to something metallic behind the stereo. NOT THE ACTUAL CRADLE THOUGH. If this doesn't work let me know, I have another theory.
