It is normally in use with Ipod, but it does this in radio or cd mode as well. I was told by someone it is because the face has gotten lose or there is a bad connection there. How can I confirm this and is it fixable? Any thoughts? A check quick you could try is get it on a bumpy road or parking lot where there is no traffic and hold the face plate on as tight as you can and hit some bumps to see if that helps keep the power on. If it does then you are probably looking at a loose face plate.
