Sign In I bought the BCI-2060 stereo and my friend installed it for me without harnesses...but the lcd screen stays on even when the car is off.and the stereo doesn't turn off.... It's a 99 Grand am. Sign In Most likely you have a remote power hooked to a contunious power supply. Unhook it and run it to a switched power, like your fuse panel, and put it in-line with the radio fuse. Power supply is hooked to a continuous power source (something that has power even when car is off, like brake lights or horn) You will need to wire it to your ignition. So, when accessories are selected, it will turn on. MAKE SURE THOUGH, your memory wire IS hooked to a continous power source.
