I have a 2004 Jaguar Xtype 3.0 standard sound system. I removed an aftermarket Kenwood double din and then installed the pioneer. But after i hooked everything up there was no power. So i put the kenwood back in after hours of frustration. And it don't work. I believe i have checked all the fuses. If i can get another power source from somewhere. I heard of people usi g the ciggarette lighter. But it is a Jag and i don't want to do more damage than i have already.

Do you have a volt meter? Check for battery voltage on brown/white and yellow/green with the ignition on Check for ground on Black Note: You do understand that the original radio was designed to communicate on a data bus with the rest of the modules in the vehicle and to also communicate over fiber to an amplifier, cell phone transceiver, navigation system, and voice controller if they were equipped? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
