Sign In I've got a JVC KD-R200 stereo. For no apparent reason it shuts off then turns right back on. It has been installed for a while now and just recently started this. Sign In there are quite a few things that can cause this problem. first, you might want to check all your wiring connections to see if any are loose. if you smoke or drive over dusty roads, you may have dirty contacts on the face and subpanel, you can try cleaning the contacts with qtips and rubbing alcohol or a pencil eraser. clean the contacts on both the face and the subpanel. there is also the possibility you may have bad solder connections inside the radio itself.
