CD not working Quote | Reply

05 Toyota Corolla OEM AM/FM CD Player. I turned the car on w/o starting the engine & put in a CD. I started the engine, the CD finished loading but would not play. I disconnected the unit, reconnected it. When I insert a CD into the player, the player tries to read it but 5-10 seconds it ejects the CD. I tried different CDs, all originals but with the same result. No play. PiratePlease Help.

I am sorry to say it sounds like the reader is either dirty, damaged or dead. You can get CD's that are made for cleaning the readers. They are about $7 AUD here, try that, if that does not work, you may have to replace the CD player.
