i have a 318ti and would like to know if the code you used was also a 5 digit code

And where and what kind of tool would i have to get to remove my radio to check my ser#

just got a 95 325 and it didn't come with a factory stereo so i put one in and no sound is coming out but the radio works please help.

the site I seen said
hold the M button on the radio
Turn non key and Radio button the code shoulrd show it did not work for me may be you have luck?

Hi, before you place the code (five numbers) is necessary that the radio turn on for 01 hour at least, after this time you will be insert the code and the radio will acept immediatly.
The reason this : BMW radio do no has a Internal Memory Card (ICM in that time), for this it is necessary that the eletronic internal Systen will be turn on for one hour for renew the memory systens; Four you understand it's like a old module (CPU Cars), where you need after the turn off the battery, turn on the keys and wait a 15 minutes (around) to memorize the main functions ( like CO2, RPM, mix air and gas and etc), after this the car will be ok.
