I have a 1969 Mercury marauder X-100. I just installed a rebuilt ORIGINAL AM/FM radio. When i turn it on I get static and then it comes on and plays great. A few minutes later it goes back to static. And this repeats itself over and over.

I have put in a new antenna with no luck.

Got any ideas?? Please...
