i have 4 channel amp and 4 12in subs [Duals] 425w how do i hook them up? what will be my power output/ range? what size wires

If i read this correctly, did you day you have a 4 channel amp and 4 x subs? You can only hook up 2 subs to the amp. Subs take 2 channels each. You could hook up 4 speakers though. Installing subs is quite complicated. There should be an instruction manual with the Amp that will show you.

Your power output will all vary on wattage of amp, wattage of sub, RMS and OHM.

For the power and ground wires use 6-8 gauge,for the speaker wires to the subs probably 14-16 gauge. Be sure to scrape the paintaway from were you ground, to make sure you get the best connection, and DEFINATLY use an inline fuse, my cousin didn't (he also didn't even tighten wires down very well) anyway, he hit a bump and his ground poped out and touched his power wire, long story short his pretty little eclipse was nothing more than a burnt carcas by the time the fire dept got there. fuses are definatly a good idea, certainly cheaper to replace than a car. Usually you can get everything in a kit, i got mine at a Checker Auto parts store. make sure to avoid a kit with an old style fuse, they work just as good but depending on were you are it may be difficult or even impossible to find a replacement when you need one. hope this helped, if you need anything else just ask
