2002 isuzu rodeo stereo installation

hi, previous owner had aftermarket stereo in car ,when i bought it he gave me factory stereo, i hooked it up but only getting very very little volume ,you cant hear when car is running, is there an amplifier somewhere in the car im missing. ive looked everywhere i think?

Actually yes, on some of those they had an external factory amplifier. It would be located below the left side of the instrument panel right next to where the brake booster rod comes through the firewall. It has a grey and a white connector plugged into it.

thank you very much, i will try that, beats taking off every wall panel and seat and glove box, which ive done, how did i miss it if its visible?

Not sure...you are a cyborg right? it wouldn't look like your normal amplifier. It almost looks like an ECU or controller. The major difference is that it has huge heat sink on the back side.

got it, my wife took car to do errands but when she gets back ill check and let you know if problem is fixed , thanks again, oh and cyborg is my dogs name ,never been on this site before!
