I just bought new pioneer speakers for my car. the old speakers have 4 connecting wires. The new speakers have only 2. How do I install these? I just dont want to cut up the wrong wires. Thanks

You must have the RPO U59 system with the external amplifier with built in crossovers. This system is an 8 channel system. The front speaker assemblies each have one tweeter and one midrange speaker, hence the 4 wire connection to each speaker assembly. The rear speaker assemblies each have one woofer and one tweeter. What exactly are you attempting? What kind of speaker are you wanting to connect and where? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
