Howdy Folks!
My 2001 RAV4's car stereo (CD/cassette combo) started acting up about a month ago, after 11 1/2 years of perfect service.
Here are the two issues:
1. It has become very fussy about which CDs it plays. Store-bought CDs generally work fine, but CD-Rs are usually spit back out.
2. When I use a cassette adapter (a reliable model from Radio Shack) to play songs from my iPhone, the sound starts out good, but within several minutes, it starts sounding fuzzy and loses some volume, as if it's losing battery power. Both my iPhone and adapter work fine in other settings, so I know that's not the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
