There is another wire a thin black wire. What is that wire for? Also how do I disconnect it? I am trying to put in a new aftermarket radio. It makes it much easier to install as you can just match up the colors and no cutting of the wire plug is required. To release the wire harness from the stereo, you will need a small flat head screwdriver to release the clip, and it should pull right out. The thin black wire is not required for the installation, so just leave it alone and tape it off or secure it with a zip tie.
