1994 325 conv, radio code needed

how do i get codes for my radio , i pulled it out to check fuse and now code is being displayed and nothing works i need help.

Hi Jim,
In order to get the bmw radio code for your bmw you will need to take the radio out one more time. This time write down the serial number from the back of the radio, and then you can try calling a local bmw dealer. Chances are you will need to stop by and ask them to look up the radio code for you. This should be free. It was for me.
Then enter the code, sometimes it takes two times for it to work. Also if you mess up you will need to wait about an hour, to retry..
I actually just did this since I didn't care about listing to regular radio, but needed to use the radio for my sirius radio... Which is great by the way..
