Search Auto Parts Search squeeking rear end -2004 outlander Sign up here!   Email This Post Auto Repair Home>> Automotive Repair>> Engine and Car Noises rkellichner New User Jun 14, 2010, 8:07 AM Post #1 of 4 (2036 views) squeeking rear end -2004 outlander Sign In ive got a 2004 mitzu.. outlander 2 wheel drive with squeeking rear joints. i was sucessful at removing 1 lower shock bolt. the bolts on every other flex point were frozen in place. i managed to get the nuts off but even a ball joint press wouldnt budge them. i loosened the top of the shock and sprayed some lube oil in but nothing has worked yet. You do realize to do u-joints, you only need to unbolt the flange @ the rearend & unbolt the carrier bearing to R&R the driveline.... I see you are in the rustbelt so it's even tougher..........PB Blast works the best.........
