I have had my fuel regulator replaced because it was leaking. Now I am getting noise , especially when it is cold out, coming from the fuel regulator. It's really pretty loud. Never had this noise before. Thought it was a faulty fuel regulator, so had it replaced with another. The noise is still there.

Thanks BUD

I'm not sure how you could hear a noise from the regulator, even if it was capable of making a noise because it is buried under the intake manifold.

It sounds like air in the line. The noise runs all the way back to my fuel tank.

You're description is making no sense at all

Re: fuel regulator noise Sign In

I don't know how else to tell you other than there is a noise and it has the sound that is fairly loud. I can put my finger on the fuel regulator and feel some sort of pulsating action and the noise. Like I said earlier , the noise is much louder when it is cold outside. I am trying to make sense of what I am telling you, but I don't know how else to describe my problem.

You sure it isn't the fuel pump whining?

I really don't know what to tell you. I can't make heads or tails or what you're trying to describe. You can't tell me what type of sound it is or where it's originating from. Maybe someone else has some insight.

Maybe recording the noise and uploading it to a video hosting site and sending us the link may help figure this one out.
