Hello hope someone can assist, whilst im sitting in traffic the other day i noticed my rad is cold & my engine to be overheating. after taking of/apart my water pump it seems that the impeller has corroded. could anyone tell me by looking at the attached pic if this is the case or is it meant to look like this after wear & tear, or even another issue could be the cause & could this be repaired by modding?. some pics if helpfull any advice would be wonderfull

Couldn't get your pics to show but a corroded impeller would cause problems and replacing it new is the fix. Not a vehicle I know but virtually all the impellers are not sold separately for replacement and are pressed into water pumps. Low flow would be a problem in traffic vs higher RPM driving. Know that overheating is almost always destructive so do everything to avoid it, T _________________________________________ Long retired now
