Re: Squeaking Noise Sign In

Could you elaborate a little more on the "squeaky noise" when I am driving it. Need to know sort of what the sound is like. Like 2 pieces of metal rubbing together, rubber rubbing metal, rubber rubbing against rubber. Also does turning the vehicle or changing the engine RPM make a difference in the pitch of the noise? Sorry for the questions, but it is really hard to diagnose sounds when you can't hear them. Please let us know.

It actually sounds like metal rubbing against metal or an old squeaky bed.

I would have all the bushings checked under the car. If some of the isolator has been damaged, it will allow metal to rub against metal. Also, if you can safely get under it, look for any rusty colored places where 2 pieces of metal come close to each other. Hope it is a simple fix for you. You might try spraying some silicone spray on all yhe rubber bushings under the car to see if that helps it any.
