Scraping and clicking noise when i brake Sign In

2003 chevy cavalier 4L 119,000km.I had my passenger side spring replaced and replaced the passenger side caliper and both front pads. Now i hear a clicking noise when i brake along with a metal on metal scraping sound from that side. It scrapes when i turn left also. I drive my car like its broken so it never will be, so its not from misuse. I have changed pads before and never had a problem. I had a mechanic help me with the caliper so i know it was done right but it still makes the sound. What could this be because i dont want to get soaked for a pile of cash for a mechanic to fix 10 problems when i only need to fix the 1. Unsure

What the heck caused you to need a spring? Why did you do just one spring and one caliper? Did you check rotors or do anything with them?

Look for a bent backing plate rubbing, machine or replace rotors as needed and may need new pads again. You seem to be shortcutting so much nothing would surprise me with this,
