Making sound when pressing accelerator

Hi guys. Hoping to figure the issue in my car.
2005, mistibushi, outlander, 2.4L Automatic, 190,000K
Hi have an issue with the car while driving. When I start my car and put my transmission in drive and start driving on road, I hear noise (kit kit kit kit) while pressing accelerator. But the sound is not heard when I put my transmission in parking mode and press accelerator. The noise is heard only while driving mode and pressing accelerator. I took it to mechanics but the are not able to figure it out. They informed me that the sound is not due to engine and timing belt. Hoping to figure out the issue. Thank you.

Does it sound like it is coming from the front or rear of the vehicle?
Have they pulled the wheels and inspected the brakes? Inspected drive axles? If they drive the vehicle while it is up on the lift can they pinpoint the source of the noise?

Thanx for the reply mate. It's coming from front of my vehicle. I think they did. They pulled off the wheels and done some inspection. They lift the vehicle and try to pinpoint the noise but not sure. He said that it might be from lower part of the engine but not sure about it. One of the mechanic told me, might be of computer issue, which I don't think.

Not sure what you mean by that description? Seems this will only make this elusive noise under load of driving and nobody can duplicate it. I think you are going to have to ask a tech to drive it and hear this then go looking for what, where and why.
Noise only while under load alone should narrow it down for techs. Of places some would be, CV joints, motor mounts, flex exhaust, heat shields or other loose items.
What the heck was blaming this on a computer about? Sounds more like a blow-off answer to me and suggests that place/shop or person doesn't want this job at all.
Let someone witness the noise even ride along with them then let them go looking,
