I have a 1985 F-150 with a 300 in line 6C in it i have been havein problems with it and i finally got it narrowed down to the distributor but i can't seem to get that thing out for nothing i have done everything i know to do i took the cap,the brain,and the clamp and bolt that holds the body from movin off. When i went to pull it out it won't come out i will move and inch or two up and down but that's it. I tried to turn the motor by hand a little bit and try to pull it and i did that over and over intill the rotor made a complete 360. If any body know what i can do please help. I ain't goin to lie i ain't no mecanic by no means so if you would please explaint to me what to do simply cause i don't know all that car talk but if someone will please give me some advice i would highly appriciate it

It's just gummed up with varnish. Use some carb cleaner or Brake Kleen at the base and tap lightly upward on the base of the distributor.
