Fiat Bravo Making Strange Noise??? HELP!	Sign In

Hiya,

My Fiat Bravo 1.2 has started to make a really strange noise, the only way I can describe it is as if you're blowing on top of a bottle, the humming sound that it makes, that's what i sounds like..

I crashed my car about 3 months ago and have noticed it since then, I pushed my passenger front wheel into the car wing, and snapped a wish bone and some other bits and bobs, but it all got fixed straight away. The car runs fine in itself, just the noise is really bugging me!

I've got no idea where it's coming from, it sounds as if it's coming from the front, but I could be wrong.

It doesn't always happen, and when it does it only lasts for a few seconds at a time, and more often when I first start driving the car..

Any idea what's up with it? I don;t want to take it to a garage and it cost a bomb, but then again I don't want it to get worse.

It's a V reg, so 1999/2000.

Please help!!!

Can only do wild guessing:

Could be shrouding for air flow that should all be in place. That includes wheel well, air dams, fan shrouds, air intake parts all must be in order,

Well my passenger wing is quite dented, the mechanic bashed it back out, but still quite a dent in it, mayeb thats the noise then..

Earlier I had my passenger door open and I could hear a sort of vibrating sound, so starting to think I should take it to the garage, just to double check it!!
