Engine Conversion Sign In

Hi
I'm from Cape Town and i own Isuzu KB 260 Double Cab, 2008 model with a reconditioned Engine and its giving me problems. I want to fit imported Toyota engine, but i don't know anything about engine conversions. Just heard that i can use 3Y or 4Y but i'm not sure if its a good and cost efficient decision. I would really appreciate your advice in this regard.
Thank you

Re: Engine Conversion Sign In

That stuff is not legal to do in the US and we don't have those vehicles here so I doubt we will be much help.

Re: Engine Conversion Sign In

If there was such a conversion kit between two manufacturers it would still be an enormous undertaking to make it work properly vs fixing the engine again on the Isuzu. What went wrong with the "reconditioning" of the engine you have? Not practical to change it for near endless reasons,

Re: Engine Conversion Sign In

You could trade it in or sell it and buy a Toyota. It would probably be cheaper.
