8 months prego and need help fast!!

I drive a 2006 dodge charger with aprox. 66345 miles. About 4 months ago it started making a slight strange knocking noise and i took it to get checked out and they shook my entire car out n both times couldn't find a problem. Well it started clanking and clunking in the right front wheel well area, its to the point where if a turn my wheel it squeeks, and it makes the noise very loud wether im on a smooth road or not! When anyone gets in or out the front of the car it erks and clunks , if u bounce on it it does the same and i can feel it knocking in the steering i believe! Its gotten very bad all of the sudden and its become alarming. I was told it could be shocks or struts, what is ur opinion? and i wont have money to fix it for about a month or so.... so do u think it will be safe to drive for simple trips untile then?? Thanks

Not safe to drive this at all!
TWO people have checked this and didn't find anything wrong!
Odd problems that could be overlooked could be a loose wheel or a broken wheel??
Hard to say but it must be found and fixed - towed is my suggestion,

You need to take it to a different shop. If it makes the noise as much as you say is does and while it's sitting still, they should be able to find something....
As Tom said, if it's getting worse you should really stop driving it..... You're going to wind up making a bad situation way worse.....

Your description of the wild noise, shaking the steering wheel is scaring me just to read! You just can't use this car with those both noised and feelings.
Could be several things from wheel bearing(s) to a CV joint about to let go but none are all adding up to just one thing. The very real fear is losing total control, perhaps that wheel coming off and getting all jammed up or shoot past you as it's not diagnosed yet. If all hell broke loose it could total the car or worse cause some horrible accident!
Timing for car trouble always is tough and 8 month's along that much worse.
I wish we had a pool of funds to help you out but this can't wait.
Some shops might negotiate a payment plan. Call them and ask up front. If no known decent shops I suggest spending the money for AAA "Plus" which includes the first 100 miles of towing! It's about $80 for the annual subscription. Other motor clubs could be the better choice for you. These clubs offer discounts at cooperating stores so it ends up about free! If lost with finding a shop they are likely to tell you who is recommended for your area. These "car" clubs are likely to guarantee the repairs - you would need to ask.
So you know - none of us get paid to work here! Yes - there are techs/mechanics - in fact most are on the up and up. Tell them your situation and bet you can get help.
