I've brought this SUV into a dealership service center, an independent auto shop with no answers just more confusion and with less cash.

First some quick background/possible important info. Had to have my tires changed earlier this year March, and this is when some issues arised. Trying to save money I had only my front two tires changed. After about a week I heard some strange noises not exactly thumping but almost like the front tires were hitting the wheelwell. Friend told me some AWD need all four changed, I went back got the back tires changed and the sound went away. Second I did change all my rotors and all brake pads myself, I've done it many times on my old 2005 buick century, and it wasn't much more difficult. Onto the current sounds.

1. Sound one is a knock/low pitch click maybe clunk, which sounds like its right under my foot. This happens only after deaccelerating for 3-5 seconds after the mass of the car starts to slow. This also only happens at low speeds between 5-30mph on flat or inclines after pressing the gas pedal moderately, not downhill or above 35/highway. I've begun to lightly accelerate in all circumstances to reduce its occurrence.

2. Sound two is a rotational thumping from the left front side. This only happens at very low speeds or from a stop while turning at certain angles usually sharply left or right say from a stop sign or in a parking lot.

3. Noticed my front suspension creaking more often lately Idk if thats a symptom of anything

Btw independent auto shop first said, motor was moving around but to bring it back the next dayfor "full diag", then said the rear differential was bad and to go to dealership.....dealership said they didnt hear anything on road tests and they couldnt help.

I did some research and thought maybe CV joint or something in that area but honestly Im a novice, only done brakes and oil changes, put on a hitch, basic stuff.
Any help wound be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This first a quote from YOU: ">Friend told me some AWD need all four changed<"
That was correct. Now with just 2 new you've confused this thing need all 4 again now. It's a nightmare of AWD. Sports, tires are rated for how far they go per revolution and the car is trying to outsmart that (oxymoron) and can't.

No telling what it's has stressed out or even broken? Both a shop in person and Dealer. Dealer probably doesn't want anything to do with it maybe a snag of warranty implied for drivetrain 10yr/100,000k boasting but you messed up with the tires. Dealer might have been able to scan the thing see if faults are showing with that. Then the argument of who is paying as it could be a disaster.
I may be off on incorrect guess but March to now with just 2 new tires is the clue to me. It's broken or worn out how to differentiate that with 4 wheels now turning constantly at different speeds not just if stuck or a turn is temporary it forgives that.
You should have some owner's manual that would discuss that plus include any towing specifics as if two wheels left on road surface how far if at al it can go without a disaster said more mildly than that.

A transmission specialty shop may shed some light on this another expense to just figure out the possible cost to get out of this up to is it worth it vs value of the car?

IDK, I'll let you do the math when someone in person can put a price to the fix,

Hey thanks so much for the advice, one more thing, I was mistaken about my dates, the front were done Dec 19th and I went back Jan 7th for matching back tires, so I could have damaged my power train in two weeks due to the uneven treads? In March is when the sounds were noticable, got worse at the end of August. Either way I guess I have to get it checked out again. Thanks again

That was my hunch of WHY. It's too sensitive a way to make a machine for almost anyone think about that.

Gears that "differentiate" to turn faster or slower or just tolerate it don't like constant use of a necessary feature for TWO never mind 4. 2WD you shut off whole front or rear this is calculating all has to have wearing parts to adjust that.

Basics are thing get lubed by rotation or don't need the main power even then do. Towing instructions for any vehicle will vary even 60 years + more ago some more later. There's no lube towing so know how because if it will ruin huge items that don't get lubed just from the engine or moving wheels.

Same game no matter why it's now about what the correction is and to what extent. Nobody nailed it down well yet or at all had it in person so you said. Now I think the right transmission specialty shop would know or be able to test more then even many dealers if one is available to you.

Hope I'm wrong and it's just dumb something and simple just doubt it so find out if you can then costs and what you can plan to do about it,

T
