2005 mazda 6 3L Valve Cover Bolt Placement Sign In

Ok, this should be a real easy one.
I'm replacing the valve cover gadget for my mazda 6 and now that I'm putting the cover back in place, I can't remember which bolts go where! Most of them have extended threaded heads, while a few do not. It might not really matter which ones are extended, but I thought I'd ask just in case. There are also additional fixtures that need to be bolted back on and I can't remember how those need to be placed (though I'll probably be able to figure that out). I'm also hoping that when I re seat the air intake manifold, that I can just pop everything back into place in the most obvious connector, but if anyone has a picture or a diagram, that would help.

I promise when I do the upper valve cover, I'll take pictures/notes for how things go back together!

Uggh! Don't do things without knowing what was where too late now. Pics out on the web probably exist which type of bolt with or without extended threads to hold other items go where just maybe someone here can come up with that.
Another time and maybe the "old phart" in me - use a piece of carboard with holes to put things like this in when taking something apart in order indexing the start point,
Valve covers and more have torque specs too that type of fastener needs to be done in order usually a staggered pattern then last the top threads hold the air snorkel parts I think you meant are not so fussy.
Don't do that again but that's behind you. If all else fails try finding another same engine to see or a dealer's screen if you can get a copy of diagram of just which type goes where. You still need the torque spec and order they are tightened or this may just be failed job unfortunately - hope not,

It should be very obvious when you try the bolts in the hole. They all should have about the same amount of excess thread so when you drop them into a hole you should know if they drop in too far or appear to have too much excess thread.

You probably have some bolts that go around the edges and a couple that go down through the center and they will be the odd ones.
