I'm having a problem with the steering the front left tire is making a constant little popping metal sound like noise and I can feel it in the steering wheel as well and it gets worse when steering the sound sounds like it's coming from the axle region and I noticed grease build up right where the cv axle meets the trans has a little bit of glitter looking residue not the grease not sure if that's a problem I've read around a little and asked others opinions but I need a professional one and it also has ecs tuning coilovers on it if that helps any but yeah let me know asap

If you're seeing grease on the outside of the axle, then you have a bad axle and that needs to be replaced. I couldn't say if it your noise or not but it bad and needs to be replaced anyway. It very well could be the noise also.

I figured that's what it most likely was but I'm no mechanic I know just enough to get me by lol looked at the boot too and there's a little tear in it because I could stick my finger through it also is it safe to drive just to get it maintenanced by a professional it just started so how long should it be before I go without replacing it
