I have a 2000 ford taurus with the 3.0 24 valve dohc motor in it. The car has 120,000 on the clock. My problem is this, when I brake the wheel shakes badly. Also it seems to be sitting a bit lower in the front lately. The car has been sitting for awhile ( 2 months) without being driven. I moved it the other day and when you turn the wheel just slightly I am hearing a popping sound. any ideas???? thanks for your help.

The brake pulsation is pretty cut and dry. You have distorted brake rotors that could be due to rust from sitting. The front suspension problem could be a broken coil spring or something like that but it has to be inspected to find out. We can only do so much without seeing the car. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
