1995 firebird goes bang

i have a 95 pontiac firebird with a 3.4 and 126000 miles
runs pretty good but when i get on the highway for a while and get into the throttle to pass someone it seems like the engine losses a little power for a second and gets i little rough then i hear a loud bang noise that sounds like its close the transmission and then she goes back to running good any input would be greatly appericated thanks very much

Do you have any codes? If so which ones? What maintenance has been done to this? Have you replaced any vacuum lines or looked for vac leaks yet? What is your fuel pressure when this is happening?
