I need to know if the upper ball jiont on this van is pressed out upwards or downwards. the ball jiont post sticks upward. lost on this one no book handy

Go to www.autozone.com and create a free account. It has repair instructions there. It will come out toward the shaft side. The flat side goes in first and comes out last.
