04 Range Rover. Grinding Noise when I Turn!

Hello I have a 04 Range Rover.(I dont know very much about cars so bear with me). So the other day i was driving at about 15 mph. My friend accidentally clicked the button next to the Parking Brake. It looks like its to help traction while going Downhill or something. Now It sounds like my car is stuck in 4 wheel drive which i dont think it is. it makes a loud Grading noise when I turn the wheel any direction. And it still sounds bad even if its in Park.
Im not sure if pressing that button is what did it but im about 70% sure. Please help
