brake problems dodge stratus Sign In

I have a 2000 Dodge Stratus, and we have replaced the back right brake pads 4 times in 2 months, we have also replaced just about every part on it. They keep sticking and now, the last set only lasted a week, it chrystalized the pads....help....we don't know what else could be wrong...

If it's selecting one brake to wear out because of sticking the problem should lie with perhaps (varies by design) parking brake, caliper frozen or slides sticky, and unseen to the eye is the rubber flex hose that can allow pressure to the brake but doesn't realease it well or at all in some cases. To test for that with the wheel off ground and demonstrating being sticky, just open the bleeder just a touch to let just some fluid out but not air back in of course and if the wheel/brake frees up the hose is highly suspect. If you find that I would replace both sides,

definately replace rubber brake hoses on both sides, I had same problem with my 97 stratus. Changed hoses=no more problem. The rubber deteriorates and swells and constricts the flow of fluid back which has no pressure to push it and your shoes stay against the drums and superheat and all that good stuff. changed brakes 6 times before discovering it.
