I was told my emergency brake won't hold by the inspection people. Can anyone tell me how I might fix this? I found this cord dangling behind my front driver wheel. Could this be the issue? My anti-lock light is also on. Thanks!

Wire would be for ABS no doubt.


Parking brake is in the rear. Highly worn brake pads or broken cable perhaps but either would be obvious if looked right at while working the brake. Pretty much do NOT adjust cable itself unless a new cable is installed. If rest of it is OK the adjustment of CABLE should be good where it is..............
