The first thing to tell you is you should change your user name ASAP. The spammers will grab it and have a field day with it. On your brakes, front drum brakes can be a real pain and never really worked well. The first thing to look at is to make sure you have the shoes on correctly. The long shoe goes in the back. Next, make sure you didn't get any grease or dirt on the friction surface. You didn't mentioned doing anything with the drums. At the very least they should have been resurfaced. The new shoes will not mate well with used drums. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Same - shoe with more lining to the rear. These work and work well you learn to drive these like drag them thru wet conditions or be surprised. Springs matter a lot. New if color matched and you know what color they should be to which holes. Can't usually get away with just shoes sport if you tried. The ID of drums isn't the curve of new shoes for quite a while of wear. Find a place that will match those up and at least remove the outer ring that didn't wear on drums or when adjusted they can't be removed so well. Wheel bearing tightness matters! IF any questions on how to do that I'll write the novel but save it for now. Learn it well and check periodically. Other is watch wheel cylinders retract to OFF (both ends) and shoes hit top anchor. If not springs or adjuster is all screwed up. That lever to the rear must be sharp or they will NOT self adjust while backing up if backwards will over adjust and self destruct you'll get a chance to do it all over again, T
