07 Honda Odyssey 116000 Brakes lock up above 20mph Sign In

recently got an 07 Odyssey that needed a bit of work. I dont know a lot about the vans history, but i do know that it sat for at least a year before i got it a week ago. I had to replace all the brakes and rotors, tires and an inner tie rod in order to drive it. on the first drive i hit the brakes hard and they stuck on until the vehicle speed dropped below 20mph. I continued driving for a bit and this same thing continued to happen. it only happens above 20mph. i tried applying different presser on the brakes, and it continued. With a little pressure they stayed applied a little. with a lot of pressure they stayed applied a lot. The brake pedal got hard until the brakes released at 20mph every time. I was a mechanic for about 10 years and i have never come across anything like this. Any ideas where to start or what to do?

Have you determined specifically which wheel/wheels are doing it?

Kevin - No history can hurt and it sat for a year as well. Had to do brakes to drive it? What do you mean by that? Wouldn't move or wouldn't stop or wasn't running at all.
Be nice if you could know or state what you found driving it first before finding all this wrong. "Did all brakes?" How much just pads and rotors or what else? Hoses? How did you bleed it out? Fluid OUT only or push back on pistons or what?
Seem for now heat may be the issue and fooled by the speed something gets hot, makes pressure to self apply brakes and or prevent them from releasing.

Just thoughts for now try not to wreck new parts till you can find the issue including parking brake,

T
