Parking lot fender jam Sign In

I'm hoping someone with experience fixing minor body repairs can help me with some ideas on this -
The other day my truck got backed into by a teenager driving a Scion.
It was a low speed bump with his rear hitting my front left bumper.
The bump did no visible damage to the bumper area but it pushed the bottom of the fender back about 3/16 of an inch, just enough to cause the fender to interfere with the drivers door when the door is opened/closed.
Since the bump pushed the fender back is it possible to somehow pull the bumper back out to move the fender forward by that 3/16 inch?

Sorry to say it is It is never as simple as you hope. Suggest you retain the services of a professional auto body technician.
Why not go thru the scion owners insurance? -

Looked at your picture and will try to post it directly. Look at the bottom gap between fender and door is what you see and it showed.
That was probably there from door hinge wear or waiting to happen still not your fault if you didn't hit the thing and another did.

If that is the body bent not just a hinge issue you'll be shocked how costly that would be to correct - meaning frame bending or unknown requiring auto body shop/tech to determine where and what is the fix IMO.

Try this: Just open door enough so you can lift up on it from the bottom towards rear/latch end. Does it move at the door hinge on the bottom? If so it's a hinge problem. Picture didn't show whether rear gap has increased by the same amount which suggests hinge itself with a bronze bushing hidden has failed,
