How much would this accident cost me ? Sign In

Hit the corner of a curb when driving in reverse. Was wondering how much would it cost to get it repaired professionally ? How much would it cost if i did it myself ? Due to it being on a curve, and with my limited knowledge, i don't know how hard of a repair this would be, or what products i would need to purchase. Any help would be appreciated.

I (it's a problem here) couldn't get pics to show almost doesn't matter. You said what tools you would need? That if this involved painted metal or plastic perhaps both you are not going to fix much the right equipment is out of control expensive plus a place to do it.

Get an estimate from a real auto body shop either exact with a maybe for unseen damages (any accident) to just pay for it. Maybe you could do some by agreement if the whole objective is save buck obviously or you would be here,

You ripped the bumper open and it's going to need a new one and then the new one needs to be refinished with paint base and clear coat.

This requires special paint so you can pretty much forget about doing this yourself.

The bumper covers vary in price from make to make but you are looking at whatever the bumper costs plus a couple hundred in refinishing.

I see you're in Canada so things could be different up there.
