So my 2014 Silverado is ruined (in my eyes). I won't go into detail about how it happened other than saying the parking situation at my house is like playing Tetris.

There's paint and metal damage on the rear passenger side door, cab corner and down the side of the bed up to the wheel well. The big scratch is about 3 feet long. The metal is creased and there's bare metal exposed.

My first thought was that I was just going to have to live with it. It's clearly an expensive job, and I've already had the truck in the shop after a hit and run. But, the truck is a lease, so I'm going to have to pay for it either way.

I can already assume the damaged parts will need to be removed and replaced, including the entire bed. Am I right in assuming I'm looking at a $7,000+ job?

Not even 5000 miles on the truck and it needs to go to the body shop twice. I am NOT allowed to have this thing.

Don't you have full coverage insurance?

Same - aren't you insured? This new you would get brand new GM panels no used and not messed up with bondo but real OE metal and parts just the paint I'd want perfect as can be done and they can.

Check on this. It can mark the title and carry info with it that it was fixed (even if perfectly done) which will lower trade-in value later and if you fight get that NOW - they don't like to tell you at least here. This is so new I wouldn't mess it up.

If no insurance for this type of damage you took your chances and lost this time. I do that too and figure not paying the extra for ages would about cover anything and be ahead still. Where I am if damage is known caused by an insured other vehicle they pay totally including duplicate vehicle type while this one gets fixed,

I cannot imaging a 2014 Truck with only 5000 miles not being worth fixing. What state are you located? Do you have pictures?
