Hello, I really need some help deciding how big of a risk it is to buy this rebuilt vehicle. It has everything I want and it's right in my price range but I don't want to buy something with issues. The first images are the car after it had been in an accident and declared a salvage. The next set are of the car now after it has been seemingly "fixed". Based on the amount of damage, do you think it was fixable and will work properly? I know of others who have bought rebuilt title cars and loved them, I just don's want to spend all my money on something if it is not sound. The carfax told me that it had also been in a small rear-end fender bender prior so it has been hit from both sides. Please let me know what you think from a mechanical standpoint. Thank you! Smile

My suggestion is to have your mechanic or a reputable licensed repair shop do a complete inspection of the vehicle before you consider buying it.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Totally agree with DS - have it checked or any for that matter. In pics the work looks good to me. Just know that the accident repair work and Salvage declaration will or should seriously lower it's appraised value now and when/if you go to sell it or hope not if it's totaled again the payout would reflect that as well.

Like about anything do all your checking and homework first and contingent on your satisfaction with what might be found before you involve bucks on it except checking it out would be at your expense,
